Itchy Frenchie Update: April 2018

Hey everyone. I feel like it’s been a while since I posted an actual update on how Norman is doing. There’s also a few other things that are happening with Itchy Frenchie that I’m excited to share with you.

Update on Norman

First of all, Norman is doing fine. Although, he has been in the Cone of Shame a bit this week because he can’t seem to leave his paws alone. If you follow us on Instagram then you may have noticed the bath time stories I posted. You could see how red his paws are in the videos. I tried one with oatmeal and one with baking soda.

He’s still on Apoquel, an antibiotic for an infection, and he received another Cytopoint shot last weekend. He’s also going to switch to a different limited ingredient food. I mentioned these in the last couple of blog posts. The idea is to be able to limit the protein and carbs in their diet to just 1 each to try and determine if one of them is causing some of the itching. You may have to try a few of them to get a better idea.

Here’s a recent shot of Norman enjoying our new rug.

Website Updates, Newsletter, and More!

I’ve made a few small tweaks to the website. I’ve updated a few of the pictures and tried clean up some small things that have been bugging me. There’s also a new email list sign up! The reason for this is because I’m going to start sending out a newsletter. It will likely be monthly, and it will include various tips, updates on Norman, and some other fun things. Items that I hope you will find beneficial. I’m not yet sure if it will start this month or next, but I’d love it you signed up!

There’s also a few more little updates coming soon, but I’m going to keep them a secret for now. Or maybe I’ll put them in the newsletter! (wink, wink). I hope you all will enjoy them, it’s been fun working on updating Itchy Frenchie.

We’d love to hear from you if you have questions or a story about your pup. You can contact us either by leaving a comment here, the Contact Us page, or social media.

Take care everyone!
